Vans, well-known for their range of footwear and apparel for skaters, has joined forces with activewear and outdoor sports gear company, The North Face, to provide fans with a mix of rugged, outdoor sneakers and gear. The Vans X The North Face is set to allow you to get ready for the upcoming end of year holidays.
A Shared Common History of Quality of Design
Vans and The North Face share a common history, having both been established in California in 1966 with a shared mission to inspire a lifestyle of exploration and creative expression. The new Holiday 2017 collection champions values of innovation and adventure to create an exclusive collection of apparel, accessories and footwear, fusing both brands’ quality of design, while also creating functional offerings for any weather. The collection features bold new colourways, which mainly features black, white and yellow hues.
Highlighting the Classic Silhouettes
The partnership highlights the Vans Old Skool and Sk8-Hi classic silhouettes, with the addition of apparel and accessories that have been treated with signature technology allows you to transition smoothly from the urban streets to the rural and rugged landscapes, all the while keeping you warm and dry throughout your journey. The updated sneakers feature The North Face logo on the back of the heel counter, which also includes a custom eyelet and checkerboard lugged outsole.
Updating the Torrey Jacket
In addition to the sneaker silhouettes, the collection also features the updated Torrey Jacket, which has the synthetic PrimaLoft fill to guarantee lightweight warmth in the coolest of conditions, based on The North Face’s trusted Thermoball™ technology. The Vans X The North Face Torrey MTE quilted jacket has been redesigned in a black colourway and signed with an embroidered patch on the front. Featuring among the accessories is the iconic The North Face Base Camp Duffle, which has been modified to include a skateboard strap. The bag also dons the signature embroidered Vans X TNF labelling.
